OCHO RIOS, Jamaica — Just two months after getting engaged, Joseph Morgan and “Girlfriends” actress Persia White are officially husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in front of a cozy crowd of 26 people on July 5 in beautiful Ocho Rios, Jamaica. “I think one of the reasons we picked (Jamaica) was because we love the ocean and we both grew up by the sea,” said Persia. “To be by the sea was wonderful. And the people of Jamaica are just wonderful.” Joseph said the guests were “mostly family [and] a handful of close friends.”
“My best man was my best friend of almost 20 years, Matt Ryan,” said Joseph. “He actually plays John Constantine on the new NBC show Constantine, but we’ve been friends since we were teenagers.” Joseph, 33 and Persia, 41, met on the set of “The Vampire Diaries” in 2011.
They hope to have children soon.
